What is Got Five!?

Each player has five numbered tiles arranged on a rack facing away from them. Your opponents can see your sequence, but you must work it out by gathering clues and eliminating possibilities on a reusable player sheet.

On each turn, newly revealed information lets the active player ask one of the permitted comparison or categorization questions. Everyone hears the answer, so each clue may help several players. The first person to correctly declare all five hidden numbers wins.

How does it play?

  1. Create the hidden sequences. Arrange five number tiles on each rack so the owner cannot see them but the other players can.
  2. Reveal information. Turn over the required tile or clue for the round so everyone has a new piece of evidence.
  3. Ask a permitted question. Compare or categorize the revealed information against your hidden row according to the choices shown in the rules.
  4. Track the possibilities. Use the dry-erase sheet to cross off numbers and record what each answer tells you.
  5. Declare 'Got Five!'. When you believe you know your exact five-number sequence, announce it. A correct declaration wins; an incorrect one eliminates you from the game.

Why you might like it

  • The unusual outward-facing rack turns familiar number clues into a fresh logic puzzle.
  • Everyone can learn from every answer, keeping players engaged between turns.
  • Dry-erase deduction sheets make the reasoning visible and approachable for families.

Who is it best for?

Got Five! is best for families, puzzle fans, and players who enjoy games such as Guess Who? or code-breaking challenges. It uses number comparison and logical elimination rather than advanced arithmetic, but players should be comfortable tracking several clues at once.
