What is Kingdomino?
Players are monarchs expanding small kingdoms with oversized dominoes. Each half of a domino shows a terrain type such as forest, water, wheat field, grassland, swamp, or mine, and some spaces include one or more crowns.
Matching terrain creates larger properties, but size alone is not enough: each property scores its number of connected squares multiplied by the crowns within it. Choosing a powerful domino also affects turn order, creating a simple but meaningful tradeoff every round.
How does it play?
- Reveal and order the dominoes. Draw the correct number of landscape dominoes and arrange them from lowest to highest number.
- Resolve the current choices. In king order, each player takes the domino beside their king and adds it to their kingdom.
- Match the landscape. At least one half of the new domino must touch the same terrain type or the starting castle, and the kingdom must stay inside its allowed grid.
- Choose for the next round. Place your king on one of the newly revealed dominoes. A stronger tile may leave you choosing later next time.
- Score every property. When the dominoes are gone, multiply each connected terrain area's size by its crowns. Add the properties together; the highest total wins.

That domino is discarded. Careful planning helps prevent later tiles from becoming impossible to place.
